We are seeking an experienced Senior Tax Consultant and Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess 20 years of professional experience in tax consulting and management and have an in-depth understanding of Ethiopian tax law.
Key Requirements:
- Must have 20 years of relevant work experience in tax consulting, auditing, or tax management.
- Strong academic background in tax law, accounting, or related fields.
- Proven expertise in Ethiopian tax regulations and compliance.
- Ability to represent the company in tax audits, appeals, and disputes.
- Fluency in Afan Oromo is mandatory; proficiency in Amharic and English is a strong advantage.
- Excellent analytical, leadership, and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
- Advise management on tax planning strategies and compliance.
- Oversee preparation and review of tax returns and reports.
- Liaise with tax authorities and represent the company in tax matters.
- Ensure all tax filings are accurate and submitted on time.
- Mentor and supervise junior finance or tax staff.
