Position: Board Secretary
Qualification:
-
BA Degree in Business Administration and Information Systems or related fields.
Experience:
- Minimum of 7-10 Years of service as a Board Secretary. Maintain board's agenda and assist in planning appointments, board meetings, conferences, etc.
- Attend meetings and keep minutes.
- Receive and screen phone calls and redirect them when appropriate.
- Handle and prioritize all outgoing or incoming correspondence (e-mail, letters, packages, etc.) to and from the board.
- Make travel arrangements for executives.
- Handle confidential documents, ensuring they remain secure.
Monitor and manage the Board Secretariat Office.
Skills Reqired
- As a Board Secretary, you maintain the board's agenda, plan appointments and meetings, attend meetings and take minutes, handle phone calls, manage correspondence, arrange travel, maintain records, and assist in various administrative tasks.
- They ensure efficient coordination and support to executives, allowing them to focus on their managerial responsibilities
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Outstanding communication and negotiation abilities with Integrity and confidentiality.
