seeking a skilled and motivated Accountant with
a background in Accounting
and Finance to
join our team. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in
maintaining financial organization, managing cash flow, and
supporting the company’s financial health.
Job
Summary:
The
accountant will be responsible for managing the company’s financial
records, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, and supporting
budgeting and cash flow management. This role requires strong
attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability
to work collaboratively with other departments. The ideal candidate
will have 2–4 years of experience in accounting or finance and a
solid understanding of financial principles and practices.
Key
Responsibilities:
- Maintain
and update financial records, including ledgers, journals, and
invoices.
- Manage
the company’s cash flow and ensure timely processing of payments
and receipts.
- Prepare
and monitor budgets, financial forecasts, and variance analysis.
- Support
the preparation of financial statements and reports (e.g., balance
sheets, income statements, cash flow statements).
- Assist
in the coordination and preparation of internal and external audits.
- Ensure
compliance with tax regulations and prepare tax returns.
- Reconcile
bank statements and accounts payable/receivable.
- Provide
necessary documentation and support for financial audits.
- Collaborate
with other departments to ensure accurate financial data and
reporting.
- Identify
and implement process improvements to enhance financial efficiency.
- Stay
updated on accounting standards, regulations, and best practices.
Qualifications
and Requirements:
- Bachelor’s
degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- 2–4
years of experience in accounting or finance.
- Strong
knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations.
- Proficiency
in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Peachtree etc.) and
MS Excel.
- Excellent
attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong
analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability
to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good
communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience
with budgeting, cash flow management, and financial reporting.
