About CDTD
The Centre for Domestic Training and Development (CDTD) is a non-governmental organization that promotes the rights and empowerment of women and girls working in domestic labor and care-giving. Established in 2001, CDTD operates under four thematic pillars: Decent Work, Child Protection and Prevention of Child Labor, Safe and Dignified Labor Migration, and Survivor-Centered Gender-Based Violence (GBV) Response.
Our work combines grassroots outreach, skills training, psycho-social support, case management, and advocacy to uplift vulnerable and exploited individuals and promote equitable social systems. We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning Officer to support performance tracking, knowledge management, and adaptive learning across our institutional programs.
Position Summary
The MEAL, and Research Officer is responsible for strengthening the CDTD’s Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning (MEAL) systems to ensure the effectiveness, accountability, and impact of programs. The role will also lead data management, research, and evidence generation to inform programs, policy, and advocacy across thematic areas. The Officer will uphold compliance with donor and organizational reporting standards, and integrate safeguarding and survivor-centered principles across all MEAL and research processes.

Qualifications and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
1.Bachelor’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Economics, Statistics, Monitoring and Evaluation, Program Management or a related field . Postgraduate qualifications in MEL or Data Management are an added advantage.
2.Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience in a dedicated MEL role, preferably in gender justice, migration, GBV, or livelihoods programs.
3.Strong understanding of MEL frameworks, log-frames, indicator development and theory of change.
4.Experience with qualitative and quantitative data collection and analysis tools (e.g. KoboToolbox, ODK, SPSS, STATA, Excel, Power BI, NVivo).
Competencies:
Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex information and produce clear reports and data summaries.
Proven experience in facilitating learning processes and program reflection.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
High level of integrity, discretion, and commitment to rights-based and inclusive programming.
