Job Summary

We are seeking a responsible and motivated Runner/Porter to support our daily operations. The successful candidate will assist with:

• Maintaining cleanliness across the facility
• Running errands and moving supplies or equipment
• Providing general support as needed

Key Responsibilities

• Transport supplies, equipment, documents, and packages
• Assist with the general cleanliness of common areas
• Support facility staff with room setups and event preparations
• Refill stock items such as hygiene kits and food supplies
• Respond promptly to maintenance or transport requests
• Ensure proper handling of sensitive materials
• Report any safety concerns to the supervisor

Qualifications

• Minimum of a diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in a healthcare or support role is an advantage
• Physically fit and able to lift and carry items
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work with sensitivity in a recovery environment
• Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism
• Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening

Type of employment: Full-time contract

Duty station: Mekelle

Duration: Three months with possibility of extension

Salary: As per the organization's scale

Estimated start date: As soon as possible
