Job Summary
We are seeking a responsible and motivated Runner/Porter to support our daily operations. The successful candidate will assist with:
- Maintaining cleanliness across the facility
- Running errands and moving supplies or equipment
- Providing general support as needed
Key Responsibilities
- Transport supplies, equipment, documents, and packages
- Assist with the general cleanliness of common areas
- Support facility staff with room setups and event preparations
- Refill stock items such as hygiene kits and food supplies
- Respond promptly to maintenance or transport requests
- Ensure proper handling of sensitive materials
- Report any safety concerns to the supervisor
Qualifications
- Minimum of a diploma or equivalent preferred
- Prior experience in a healthcare or support role is an advantage
- Physically fit and able to lift and carry items
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work with sensitivity in a recovery environment
- Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Willingness to undergo background check and drug screening
Report to: Camp Coordinator
Required number: 1
Type of employment: Full-time contract
Duty station: Mekelle
Duration: Three months with possibility of extension
Salary: As per the organization's scale
Estimated start date: As soon as possible
