We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented WordPress Developer & Administrator with hands-on experience managing and developing e-commerce websites, especially multivendor platforms. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with WordPress customization, plugin integration, performance optimization, and handling day-to-day technical administration tasks of a busy online marketplace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain WordPress-based e-commerce websites (preferably multivendor platforms like Dokan or WC Vendors).
- Manage plugin and theme installations, updates, and customizations.
- Ensure site performance, uptime, responsiveness, and security.
- Troubleshoot bugs, site errors, and performance issues promptly.
- Customize front-end and back-end elements based on business needs.
- Coordinate with content, marketing, and support teams for ongoing improvements.
- Implement and manage payment gateways, shipping, and vendor functionalities.
- Create and maintain technical documentation related to website configurations.
- Optimize website SEO and loading speed.
- Monitor analytics and reporting tools to improve user experience and sales performance.
Requirements:
- 1+ years of experience working with WordPress, specifically on e-commerce websites.
- Proven experience with WooCommerce and multivendor plugins (Dokan, WC Marketplace, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of PHP, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and MySQL.
- Familiarity with cPanel, FTP, and hosting/server administration.
- Understanding of SEO, site speed optimization, and web security.
- Basic design and layout editing skills using Elementor, WPBakery, or similar builders.
- Ability to work independently and troubleshoot with minimal guidance.
