About the Company
China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), a reputable international contractor executing the Kebribeyah Water Supply Project, is seeking a qualified and committed HSE Officer to join the project team.
Project: Kebribeyah Water Supply Project (Lot 1)
Key Responsibilities
- Implement and enforce the company’s Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) policies on-site.
- Conduct daily toolbox talks, risk assessments, and safety inspections.
- Ensure compliance with national safety regulations and project-specific safety standards.
- Identify workplace hazards and recommend preventive and corrective actions.
- Prepare HSE reports, incident reports, and safety documentation.
- Train workers on safe work practices, PPE usage, and emergency procedures.
- Monitor site activities to ensure safe execution of construction works.
- Coordinate with site engineers, foremen, and project management to maintain a safe work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Minimum 2–3 years of experience as an HSE Officer on construction projects.
- Knowledge of HSE standards, regulations, and best practices.
- Strong communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in water supply or pipeline projects.
- Certification in HSE is an added advantage.
- Good leadership and coordination skills.
- Proficiency Somali language is an asset
