On behalf of our client, our recruitment team is looking for a dynamic and experienced Production Manager to lead the HR, Operations, and Marketing functions in a plastic manufacturing company. The ideal candidate will possess a solid background in production management, with proven expertise in overseeing daily operations, optimizing production workflows, managing HR tasks, and spearheading marketing initiatives. This position plays a key role in ensuring operational efficiency, meeting production targets, and strengthening the company’s market presence.

Key Responsibilities:

Operations Management:

  • Oversee the daily production processes, ensuring that manufacturing operations run efficiently and meet quality standards.
  • Develop and implement production schedules to meet targets, ensuring minimal downtime and maximizing productivity.
  • Monitor production KPIs and continuously seek improvements to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize resource use.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations and promote a safe working environment.

Human Resources:

  • Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training of production staff to ensure the right talent is in place to meet business needs.
  • Manage employee relations, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions as needed.
  • Implement HR policies that align with company goals and ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations.
  • Foster a positive and motivating workplace culture to improve employee retention and productivity.

Marketing and Business Development:

  • Collaborate with the marketing team to create and implement strategies that enhance the company’s market presence and drive sales.
  • Work closely with the sales and marketing departments to understand market demands and adjust production output accordingly.
  • Analyze market trends and competitor activities to identify opportunities for new product development and market expansion.
  • Maintain relationships with key clients and partners to ensure business growth and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Diploma, Bachelor or Masters in Business Administration, Engineering, Operations Management or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience within a manufacturing environment, preferably in plastics.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a diverse workforce.
  • Experience in HR management, including recruitment, employee relations, and performance management.
  • Knowledge of marketing strategies and experience in coordinating with marketing teams.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make decisions under pressure.
