Job Summary: Our is seeking a licensed and experienced Lawyer to support its legal operations. The candidate must be fluent in (Afaan Oromo) and hold a valid legal license to practice in Ethiopia. This role is part-time and ideal for professionals looking to work with flexibility while contributing to a growing organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal consultation and advice on business and regulatory matters.
- Draft, review, and interpret contracts and legal documents.
- Ensure the company’s compliance with Ethiopian laws and regulations.
- Represent the company in legal proceedings when necessary.
- Communicate with government and regulatory bodies on legal matters.
Required Qualifications:
- LLB degree or higher in Law from a recognized institution.
- Must be a licensed lawyer legally authorized to practice in Ethiopia.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant legal experience.
- Fluency in Afaan Oromo is mandatory.
- Strong legal writing and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently and manage flexible hours.
