Our company – Yetem Trading PLC has been engaged in the trading business since 1983 E.C. and owns a cosmetics house that supplies and distributes different brands. Yetem Trading has an extensive customer base from all over Ethiopia and has created an assortment of collections that has gained its reputation to be the leading name in the cosmetics sector.

Currently, we are investing to establish a manufacturing unit of personal care cosmetics and plastic. The company owns a 5000 Sqm plot manufacturing facility in Sheger City Administration which is 4 km North of Addis Ababa at a specific place called Sululta. We installed technologically advanced machines and we are on the verge of starting production.

Major Duties

  • Prepare Cheque, CPV, PCPV, CRV, and WHT receipt and enclose all necessary documents.
  • Cross-referenced voucher number on each of the supporting documents to avoid misplacement.
  • After the check is paid with the signature of the payee or receipt of appropriate receipts/invoice and then stamps the CPV and all the supporting documents ‘paid’ and the documents to the accountant for recording and posting the entry.
  • Follow up on the settlement of documents that are taken by purchasers and drivers.
  • Critically follow the cash collection of the credit sales from the sales and marketing department (Which is responsible for credit sales and collection).
  • Register daily cash balance and report to immediate supervisor.
  • Ensure the payment request is complete and authorized.
  • Manage the payroll fund at times payroll is paid in cash for different reasons.
  • Collect bank statements and bank advice from banks and submit to the finance department
  • Participate in the annual inventory count when you are assigned.
  • Other related duties as assigned by the immediate supervisor.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field with Zero (0) to One (1) years of relevant work experience.
  • Full professional qualification is desirable.
