Key Responsibilities
- Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
- Document financial transactions by entering account information in ERP
- Recommend financial actions by analyzing accounting options
- Summarize current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
- Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents
- Coordinate with auditor, insurance and other statutory and local authorities for compliance
- Maintain accounting controls by preparing and recommending policies and procedures
- Guide accounting clerical staff by coordinating activities and answering questions
- Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
- Secure financial information by completing database backups
- Prepare MIS
- Perform any other responsibility given by the Management from time to time
Key Result Areas
- Timely & accurate financial reporting
- Days to complete month end
- Adherence to process and compliance with system control
Educational Qualification
- Diploma/BA in Accounting and Finance
Work Experience
- 4/2 years of experience in accounting and finance field
- Preferably in a Retail or Import/Export industry or related area
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office applications
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
