About the Job

Role & Responsibilities:

• Review and reconcile daily revenue reports from various departments within the establishment.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions in the general ledger.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes adhering to strict reporting deadlines.
• Monitor accounts receivable and payable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Manage payroll processing and ensure compliance with relevant taxation rules and labor laws.
• Prepare and submit Government tax via on line.
• Perform internal audits and controls to ensure financial integrity and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Collaborate with store, F & B & Procurement to undertake inventory valuation on monthly basis.
• Assist in the preparation of annual closing for the organization.
• Analyze fluctuations in financial performance and provide detailed variance analyses.
• Support external audits by preparing required documentation and resolving any audit issues.
• Assist in the implementation and maintenance of financial software and systems.
• Track and report on hotel occupancy rates, average daily rates (ADR), and Revenue Per Available Room (RevPAR).
• Conduct inventory audits and manage cost control procedures for F&B and other departments.
• Generate and present financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with all financial and accounting regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Assist in financial planning and strategy development initiatives.
• Stay current with industry trends, regulations, and best practices in hospitality accounting.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of accounting experience, preferably in the hospitality industry.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with financial audits and compliance with regulatory standards.
