Ethiopian Airlines Group would like to invite qualified applicants for the Ethiopian Aviation University in the capacity of Adjunct Professor of Accounting.

EMPLOYMENT TYPE: PART-TIME INSTRUCTOR

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:

• PhD in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, earned in residence through a full-time program at an accredited institution.

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:

• Relevant accounting experience in the aviation industry, including roles in financial analysis, auditing, or compliance, is desirable.
• Possess expertise in
• Accounting Principles: Strong understanding of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) and International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
• Aviation Industry Accounting: Familiarity with specific accounting practices and regulations applicable to the aviation industry, including cost accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting for airlines and related businesses;
• Technical Skills: Accounting Software Proficiency;
• Data Analysis: Ability to analyse financial data and utilize analytical tools for decision-making.

LANGUAGE

• Knowledge of the ET working language, English, is mandatory.
