Ethiopian Airlines Group invites qualified applicants for Ethiopian Aviation University for the position of Adjunct Professor of Aircraft Electrical Systems.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

• PhD in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field, earned in residence through a full-time program at an accredited institution. Relevant certifications in electrical systems or avionics are advantageous.

INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE

Practical experience in the aviation industry, particularly in roles related to aircraft electrical systems or avionics, is desirable.

Possess expertise in:

• Electrical Engineering: In-depth knowledge of electrical circuits, systems, and components specific to aviation.
• Aircraft Power Systems: Understanding of aircraft power generation, distribution, and management systems, including AC and DC systems.
• Avionics Systems: Familiarity with avionics components and their integration into aircraft electrical systems.
• Control Systems: Expertise in control theory and its application to aircraft electrical systems, including automation and feedback mechanisms.
• Safety and Regulatory Standards: Knowledge of Civil Aviation Authorities' regulations and safety protocols related to aircraft electrical systems.

LANGUAGE

• Knowledge of the working language English is mandatory.
