Ethiopian Airlines Group invites qualified applicants for Ethiopian Aviation University as an Adjunct Professor of Econometrics for Aviation.

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

• EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:: Ph.D. in Econometrics, Economics, Statistics, or a related field, earned in residence through a full-time program at an accredited institution.
• INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE:: Relevant experience in econometrics, preferably within the aviation sector, including roles in economic analysis, forecasting, or consulting is desirable.

Key Expertise Areas:

• Econometrics Principles: Strong understanding of econometric theories, models, and techniques, including regression analysis, time series analysis, and panel data methods.
• Aviation Industry Insight: Familiarity with economic concepts and issues specific to the aviation industry, such as demand forecasting, pricing strategies, and cost-benefit analysis.
• Statistical Software Proficiency: Experience with econometric software (e.g., R, Stata, SAS, EViews) for data analysis and modeling.
• Data Analysis: Ability to analyze large datasets and interpret econometric results within the context of aviation.

LANGUAGE:

• Knowledge of the ET working language, English, is mandatory.
