Ethiopian Airlines Group invites qualified applicants for Ethiopian Aviation University as an Adjunct Professor of Gas Turbine Engines & Systems.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
- EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND:: PhD in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field, earned in residence through a full-time program at an accredited institution. Relevant certifications in gas turbine technology or aviation engineering are advantageous.
- INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE: Practical experience in the aviation industry, particularly in roles related to gas turbine engine design, testing, or maintenance is desirable.
Key Expertise Areas:
- Gas Turbine Engine Design: In-depth knowledge of the principles of gas turbine operation, including thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and combustion.
- Engine Components and Systems: Understanding of various components such as compressors, combustors, turbines, and exhaust systems, as well as their interactions.
- Performance Analysis: Expertise in analyzing engine performance, including thrust, efficiency, and emissions.
- Maintenance and Repair: Familiarity with maintenance practices, inspection techniques, and troubleshooting of gas turbine engines.
- Aviation Regulations: Knowledge of Civil Aviation regulations and industry standards relevant to gas turbine engines and operations.
LANGUAGE
- Knowledge of the ET working language, English, is mandatory.
