QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATIONAL BACKGROUND
- Ph.D. in Economics, Business Administration, or a related field with a focus on managerial economics, earned in residence through a full-time program at an accredited institution.
INDUSTRY EXPERIENCE
Practical experience in applying economic principles in a business context, such as:
- Consulting
- Market analysis
- Strategic planning
Experience collaborating with organizations on economic analysis or business strategy projects is desirable.
EXPERTISE REQUIRED
Candidates must possess expertise in:
- Microeconomic Theory: In-depth knowledge of microeconomic principles, including supply and demand, elasticity, consumer behavior, and production theory.
- Decision-Making Under Uncertainty: Familiarity with concepts of risk and uncertainty in managerial decision-making.
- Cost Analysis and Pricing Strategies: Proficiency in analyzing costs and developing pricing strategies based on market conditions.
- Market Analysis: Comprehensive understanding of market dynamics, including market entry and exit strategies.
- Government and Regulatory Impact: Awareness of the role of government policies and regulations in shaping economic environments.
LANGUAGE
- Knowledge of the working language English is mandatory.
