Job Summary
The Archive Officer is responsible for organizing, maintaining, and managing company records and documents in both physical and electronic formats. The role ensures proper filing, storage, retrieval, and protection of organizational documents in accordance with company policies and confidentiality standards.
Responsibilities
- Organize and maintain physical and electronic filing systems.
- Classify, label, and store documents in an orderly and secure manner.
- Ensure easy and timely retrieval of archived documents when requested.
- Maintain accurate records of all archived files and documents.
- Receive, register, and archive incoming and outgoing documents.
- Ensure confidentiality and security of sensitive company records.
- Support departments in document filing and archiving processes.
- Monitor document retention periods and support proper disposal procedures when required.
Qualifications
- Diploma or bachelor’s degree in information systems, management, secretarial science, or related field.
- 1+ years of relevant work experience in archiving.
- Good organizational and filing skills.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Good communication skills.
