Job Summary

Coordinate, organize and supervise the day-to-day, shift or day time, allocation of resources (equipment, people, materials and systems) to efficiently, safely and effectively produce products as per BGI quality standard and expected performance of machineries.by scheduling and assigning personnel, accomplishing work results, establishing priorities, monitoring progress, revising schedules, resolving problems, and reporting results.

Main Duties and Responsibilities

  • Lead, coordinate & oversee day-to-day operation of team members. Ensure that team members understand and adhere to the operational, quality and process standards, work instructions and schedules, work practice deployment plans and performance target.
  • Manage the packaging process, applying the company’s rules, standards & procedures. Review shift performance in Quality, Cost, Delivery, Safety Management and ensure that all required administrative tasks in support of the production team are carried out.
  • Plan the allocation of team members to specific autonomous maintenance tasks and initiate the creation of emergency works orders and provide input into the completion thereof.
  • Monitor process and product parameters, ensuring respect of specifications. Ensure sampling plan is applied by packaging operators
  • Ensure checking of the process control sheet for mechanics, electrician’s, operators
  • Ensure collaborating with technique department to ask the manpower during maintenance date
  • Make sure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards in the Packaging Department
  • Inspect and confirm performance of plant regularly in the shift
  • Lead all preventive and corrective maintenances and repair works and confirm all necessary repair history documentations are properly documented. Ensures that the line is ready for maintenance and that it starts up on time post maintenance. Check that the team members, carry out required autonomous maintenance tasks and any required running repairs on shift in accordance with work instructions and maintenance schedules.
  • Ensure workplace health & safety protocols are practiced properly through effective coordination with the Health & Safety Coordinator
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the line manager

Job Requirements

  • Ability to read technical drawings and operation manuals
  • Good knowledge of electromechanics equipment maintenance.
  • Basic computer skill
  • Basic English writing/reading/listening/speaking.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or mechanical engineering or industrial engineering or relevant field of studies.

Experience

  • 5 years' experience, of which two years as Shift Leader/Team Leader/Supervisor
