Branch Auditor

About the Job

The Branch Auditor is responsible for evaluating branch operations, ensuring compliance with internal policies and regulatory requirements, and identifying risks or inefficiencies. The role focuses on conducting audits, reviewing financial records, and recommending improvements to strengthen internal controls and operational effectiveness.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular internal audits of branch financial and operational activities.
• Review and verify the accuracy of financial records, transactions, and reports.
• Ensure compliance with banking regulations, policies, and procedures.
• Identify risks, control gaps, and operational inefficiencies.
• Prepare audit reports with findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
• Follow up on audit findings to ensure proper implementation of recommendations.
• Assess internal control systems and suggest improvements.
• Support fraud detection and prevention activities.
• Collaborate with branch management and other departments during audits.

Requirements:

• BA in Accounting, Banking & Finance, Business Administration, Management, or related field.
• Minimum 3.5 years of experience in internal/external auditing (preferably banking sector).
