Job Summary
The Branch Business Manager is primarily responsible for leading branch-level growth and excellence by driving customer acquisition, sales performance, and market expansion. The role holder is responsible for effectively mobilizing and deploying resources and implementing strategic initiatives that align with the Bank’s business goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead branch business growth through customer acquisition and market expansion.
- Drive sales performance and achieve branch business targets.
- Mobilize and effectively utilize branch resources.
- Implement strategic initiatives aligned with the Bank’s business objectives.
- Ensure operational excellence and high-quality customer service.
- Monitor branch performance and recommend improvement initiatives.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
- Ensure compliance with banking policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
- Lead, coach, and supervise branch staff to achieve business goals.
- Prepare and review branch performance reports.
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Management, Accounting, Management, Economics, Business Administration, Information Technology, or other related fields.
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of seven (7) years of relevant experience.
- At least one (1) year of experience in a supervisory position.
Functional & Technical Competencies
- Understanding of general financial products and services.
- Knowledge of modern banking service delivery practices.
- Good knowledge of banking policies, procedures, and regulatory compliance.
- Ability to respond to customer inquiries and resolve operational issues.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Good knowledge of Core Banking Systems and other in-house banking software.
