Job Summary
The Branch Business Relationship Manager – IFB is responsible for planning, organizing, leading, and controlling business development activities within the assigned branch. The role focuses on attracting, developing, and managing customer relationships to achieve Interest Free Banking (IFB) deposit, financing, and investment growth targets while promoting the Bank’s products and services to enhance customer value, business growth, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, lead, and coordinate business development activities within the assigned branch.
- Develop and implement strategies to achieve IFB deposit, financing, and investment growth targets.
- Identify, acquire, and retain new IFB customers while strengthening relationships with existing clients.
- Promote and market Interest Free Banking products and services to increase customer acquisition and retention.
- Provide professional financial relationship management and advisory services to customers.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with individuals, businesses, and community stakeholders.
- Monitor customer needs and recommend suitable IFB financing and investment solutions.
- Ensure compliance with Shari’ah principles, banking regulations, and internal policies.
- Monitor market trends, customer behavior, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities.
- Prepare business development plans, sales forecasts, and performance reports.
- Collaborate with branch staff and other departments to deliver excellent customer service.
- Support the achievement of branch profitability and operational objectives.
- Perform other related duties assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Banking, Finance, or a related field.
- Diploma or Certificate in Islamic Banking, Islamic Finance, or a related field is an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum of six (6) years of relevant banking experience.
Functional and Technical Competencies
- In-depth understanding of Interest Free Banking (IFB) operations and products.
- Good knowledge of IFB financing and investment modes, Shari’ah principles, and associated risks.
- Knowledge of modern sales and marketing practices within the financial services industry.

- Comprehensive understanding of banking operations, credit, risk management, and regulatory compliance.
