Job Summary
The Branch Manager is responsible for overseeing all operations at the Furi Branch, ensuring the branch meets its performance targets while adhering to banking regulations and company policies. The role involves leading and motivating a team, enhancing customer service standards, and driving sales and revenue growth through effective management and strategic planning.
Key Responsibilities
1. Branch Operations Management (30%)
- Oversee daily operations of the branch and ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal policies.
- Implement effective procedures for cash management, transaction processing, and customer service.
- Monitor branch performance metrics and initiate corrective actions as needed.
2. Team Leadership and Development (25%)
- Recruit, train, and develop branch staff to foster a high-performance culture.
- Set performance goals for team members and conduct regular performance evaluations.
- Encourage team collaboration and effective communication among all staff members.
3. Customer Relationship Management (20%)
- Ensure exceptional customer service standards are maintained to enhance customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, addressing their needs and resolving any issues promptly.
- Promote banking products and services to meet customer needs and increase branch revenue.
4. Financial Performance and Reporting (15%)
- Prepare and present regular reports on branch performance, including sales, expenses, and profitability.
- Analyze financial data to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
- Manage the branch budget, ensuring financial targets are met while controlling costs.
5. Compliance and Risk Management (10%)
- Ensure adherence to all regulatory requirements, internal policies, and procedures.
- Identify potential risks and implement strategies to mitigate them.
- Conduct regular audits and compliance checks to ensure branch operations remain in good standing.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Management, Accounting, or a related field.
- Experience:
- At least 2 years of experience as a Manager at a Grade D Branch or equivalent.
- Alternatively, a minimum of 9 years of relevant experience in the banking industry.
