Junior Cashier (Female)

About the Job: We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Cashier with at least 1 year of experience to join our team. The Cashier will be responsible for handling customer transactions, ensuring accurate cash handling, and providing excellent customer service. The role requires integrity, accuracy, and efficiency in a fast-paced retail or service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including cash, card, and digital payments.
• Issue receipts, refunds, and change to customers as needed.
• Balance cash drawer at the beginning and end of each shift and prepare daily cash reports.
• Assist customers with inquiries, complaints, and product information in a friendly manner.
• Ensure proper handling and security of cash, checks, and other forms of payment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming checkout area.
• Collaborate with team members to meet store or service goals.
• Report any discrepancies, incidents, or unusual transactions to management promptly.

Qualification:

• High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a cashier, preferably in retail, hospitality, or banking environment
• Applicants from around Gofa Gebriel are highly encouraged
