Job Summary
We are looking for a highly motivated Data Scientist with expertise in leading both pre-sales and delivery to join our team. The successful candidate will work closely with customers to understand their needs, develop proposals and estimates, and articulate the business value of our solutions. The Lead Data Scientist will also work with internal teams to design, implement and deliver data science projects using Azure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Engaging with customers to understand their requirements and pain points
- Developing proposals and estimates for data science projects
- Articulating the business value of our solutions to customers
- Designing, implementing, and delivering data science projects using Azure
- Developing and implementing machine learning models, statistical models, and algorithms for data analysis
- Building data pipelines and workflows to integrate and prepare data for analysis, Communicating findings and insights to both technical and non-technical audiences, Providing technical guidance and mentorship to junior data scientists
- Continually exploring new and emerging technologies and trends to stay at the forefront of the industry.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field, Minimum of 3 years of experience in pre-sales and delivery roles
- Strong expertise in data preparation, cleansing, and feature engineering
- Strong knowledge of machine learning algorithms and statistical analysis techniques, Experience in building and deploying machine learning models in Azure, as well as experience in MLOps
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and troubleshoot issues
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong leadership skills and ability to mentor and guide junior team members, Knowledge of best practices for data governance, security, and compliance
- Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Power BI
- Experience in working in an Agile project management environment.

- Containerization and orchestration tools: Docker, Kubernetes
- Big data processing technologies: Apache Spark, Hadoop
- Database technologies: Azure Cosmos DB, Azure SQL Database, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Azure Database for MySQL
- Version control tools: Git, Azure Repos
- Data visualization and reporting tools: Power BI, Azure Data Studio, Tableau Natural language processing (NLP) libraries: NLTK, Spacy
