Job Purpose
To support the development and implementation of a digital regulatory infrastructure aimed at improving public health outcomes in Ethiopia by enhancing the capacity of the Ethiopian Food and Drug Authority (EFDA) to regulate medical products and services.
Responsibilities
The DevOps Engineer supports the ongoing technical lifecycle of the eRIS platform, bridging development, testing, deployment, and system optimization. Responsibilities include:
- Managing deployment pipelines, version control, and system release cycles for eRIS in collaboration with developers and testers.
- Working with UX/UI specialists and end users to improve usability, accessibility, and operational efficiency within the platform.
- Contributing to product ownership functions, including prioritizing enhancements, validating fixes, and leading continuous improvement cycles.
