The Opportunity

• Shaping and refining the country strategy through authoritative thematic input
• Leading comprehensive needs assessments and situational analyses
• Driving high-quality proposal development and resource mobilization
• Representing the organization in national and international education platforms
• Overseeing program implementation and ensuring excellence in delivery
• Enhancing program visibility and contributing to policy influence

Qualification

• Master's degree in Education, Educational Psychology, Educational Administration, Pedagogy, or related fields
• Minimum of 7 years in education programming within NGO/INGO or development sector
• Demonstrated expertise in Education Programs, Teacher Professional Development, and inclusive education
• Strong understanding of global education frameworks and national education policies

Safeguarding Children and Young People (Safeguarding) and Gender Equality and Inclusion (GEI)

• Understanding and practicing responsibilities under Safeguarding and GEI policies
• Inducting team members on their role in upholding safeguarding and GEI policies
• Embedding global policies for Safeguarding Children and Young People in day-to-day work
• Contributing to global efforts to ensure safeguarding and GEI

Reports to: Head of Portfolio and Insight
