Job Summary
The Electromechanical Department Head is responsible for leading and managing all electromechanical (MEP) activities across the company's building, road, water, and electromechanical projects. The role oversees the planning, design review, supervision, quality assurance, testing, commissioning, and successful execution of electrical and mechanical works while ensuring compliance with engineering standards, safety regulations, project specifications, and organizational objectives. The position also provides technical leadership, supports procurement activities, coordinates multidisciplinary project teams, and ensures the timely and efficient delivery of electromechanical components.
Education
- B.Sc. or M.Sc. Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electromechanical Engineering.
Experience
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience.
- At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the Electromechanical Department for all company projects.
- Plan, supervise, and monitor electrical and mechanical works.
- Review electromechanical designs, shop drawings, and technical specifications.
- Coordinate MEP activities with civil and structural works.
- Ensure quality control and compliance with applicable standards.
- Prepare technical reports and project progress updates.
- Support the procurement of electromechanical equipment and materials.
- Provide technical guidance and support to project teams.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and engineering standards.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of MEP systems and electromechanical installations.
- Experience in design review, testing, and commissioning.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and other engineering software.
- Excellent leadership, planning, communication, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
- Commitment to quality, safety, and timely project delivery.
