Finance Analyst - Financial Planning And Analysis

About the Job

The purpose of this role is to provide strategic financial planning, modeling, analysis, and reporting to support the organization's commercial and supply chain operations. The Finance Analyst will consolidate, analyze, and present budget data, develop financial models, conduct variance analysis, deliver financial reporting, optimize finance processes, and ensure governance and compliance. This role also provides project support and performance tracking to enable strategic decision-making and operational efficiency.

Key Duties & Responsibilities

• Financial Planning: Coordinate with finance business partners to consolidate, analyze, and prepare presentations for various budget cycles; load budget data into relevant systems.
• Financial Modeling and Analysis: Develop financial models and analytical tools to support decision-making.
• Reporting: Conduct in-depth variance analysis, provide commentary, and deliver accurate financial reporting.
• Financial Data Management and Reporting: Reconcile financial data across systems, resolve system issues, prepare master data files, develop financial reporting tools, and extract data from ERP to reporting platforms.
• Financial System Analysis and Optimization: Conduct finance system analyses, identify opportunities to digitize and automate processes, and understand system workflows for optimization.
• Governance and Compliance: Manage finance master data on ERP, provide progress feedback, conduct self-assessments, and engage with auditors to ensure compliance.
• Project Support and Performance Tracking: Track and analyze project performance, highlight risks and opportunities, conduct post-implementation reviews, and resolve support queries.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Education: First Degree in Accounting and Finance, Financial Management, or a related field.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years in financial analysis, reporting, or finance systems management, preferably in complex or fast-paced environments.

• Manage long-term and short-term budget cycles, including loading budget data into systems.
• Develop financial models and analytical tools to forecast performance and inform decision-making.
• Perform in-depth variance analysis, provide commentary, and summarize key findings for stakeholders.
