Qualification: Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 4–6 years of experience as a Finance Director or Finance Manager in a 4-star or 5-star international hotel.
Required Skills & Competencies:
- Strategic thinker with extensive knowledge of financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Strong technical accounting, finance, and taxation knowledge.
- Proficiency in financial reporting, analysis, and presentation of management and statutory reports.
- Computer literate with experience in systems implementation.
- Good knowledge of SUN Systems, Opera, and Micros.
- Outstanding leadership, coaching, training, and team development skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement financial strategies to enhance the profitability and sustainability of the hotel business.
- Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, accounting, reporting, and financial analysis.
- Prepare, review, analyze, and present accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Monitor financial performance and provide recommendations to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Establish, implement, and maintain effective internal control systems to safeguard company assets.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, local, and industry-specific financial regulations and standards.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and financial risk to support business objectives.
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process in collaboration with department heads.
- Monitor revenue, expenses, and financial performance indicators to ensure targets are achieved.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.
- Oversee tax planning, reporting, and compliance activities.
- Provide financial guidance and support to senior management for strategic decision-making.
- Lead, train, coach, and motivate the finance team to achieve departmental objectives.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounting records and financial transactions.
- Prepare management reports and financial presentations for owners, investors, and stakeholders.
- Support the implementation and optimization of financial systems and reporting tools.
- Maintain compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and hospitality industry best practices.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
