Job Summary:
The Finance Officer will be responsible for overseeing the company’s financial operations, ensuring accuracy in reporting, compliance with regulations, and providing strategic financial insights to support growth. The role requires a detail-oriented finance professional with strong analytical and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, analyze, and present accurate financial reports, statements, and forecasts.
- Oversee budgeting, cash flow management, and financial planning to support business operations.
- Monitor cost control measures and provide recommendations for improving efficiency in production and operations.
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, accounting standards, and company policies.
- Supervise and guide junior finance staff, ensuring timely and accurate execution of finance-related tasks.
- Manage audits, liaise with external auditors, and ensure proper documentation of financial records.
- Support management in strategic decision-making through financial analysis and insights.
- Evaluate risks and develop strategies to mitigate financial challenges.
- Collaborate with procurement, production, and sales departments to align financial plans with business objectives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in accounting, finance, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of financial regulations, tax laws, and compliance standards.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Peachtree, Excel, or ERP systems).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
