Finishing Foreman

Job Summary: The Finishing Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all finishing works on construction sites to ensure high-quality execution, timely completion, and compliance with design specifications. The role requires hands-on experience in finishing activities and strong site leadership to manage workers and subcontractors effectively.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise all finishing works including painting, tiling, gypsum installation, flooring, and final interior/exterior fit-out activities.
• Coordinate and manage site workers and subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow and productivity.
• Interpret architectural and finishing drawings and ensure proper implementation on site.
• Ensure all finishing works are executed according to project specifications, quality standards, and client requirements.
• Monitor daily site activities and ensure work progresses according to schedule.
• Inspect completed works and ensure quality control before handover or approval.
• Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and other trades to ensure smooth execution of finishing activities.
• Identify and resolve site-related issues affecting finishing work progress or quality.
• Ensure proper use of materials and minimize wastage on site.
• Enforce safety standards and maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.

Requirements:

• 1–3 years of experience in construction finishing works.
• Hands-on experience in painting, tiling, gypsum works, flooring, and final fit-out works.
• Ability to supervise workers and subcontractors effectively.
• Strong understanding of construction drawings and finishing specifications.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to manage time and ensure tasks are completed within deadlines.
• Strong site coordination and communication skills.
