About Us

Lovegrass Agro-Processing Plc is a fast-growing food processing and FMCG company dedicated to delivering healthy Teff products to local and international markets. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced FMCG - Procurement Manager to lead and manage our sourcing, purchasing, and supplier relationship functions in line with FMCG standards.

Role Overview

The Procurement Manager will be responsible for:

• Sourcing high-quality goods and services at competitive prices
• Managing supplier relationships and ensuring timely purchasing
• Overseeing procurement policies and processes
• Managing contracts and negotiations
• Ensuring compliance with company standards and regulations

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with company objectives
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers for raw materials
• Ensure cost-effective purchasing without compromising quality
• Manage supplier relationships, contracts, and performance
• Coordinate procurement planning with production, operations, and finance
• Monitor market trends and risks affecting supply chains
• Maintain proper records and procurement documentation
• Ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
• Lead and coach the procurement team for efficiency

Qualifications & Requirements

• BA/BSc in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or related field (Master’s is a plus)
• Minimum 8 - 10 years of progressive procurement experience
• Strong knowledge of local and international procurement procedures
• Proven negotiation and contract management skills
• Excellent leadership and communication skills
• Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office tools
• Fluency in English and Amharic; knowledge of other local languages is an advantage

Remuneration and Compensation

Negotiable based on qualifications.
