Currently, we have an exciting opportunity for the role of GMP Technologist. and we are looking for passionate, capable, and competent candidates who are prepared to work with passion and focus.
The role is structured to report to the SHEQ Manager and the incumbent works to ensure GMP standards are met on the total site and ensure product hygiene standards are maintained, will ensure the correct hygiene standards are maintained through the entrenchment of best-in-class SHEQ standards through strong performance management and right SHEQ capability.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
1. Carry out microbiological tests.
- Identify swabbing areas.
- Draft/develop a sampling plan.
- Prepare lab equipment for micro testing.
- Do micro-sampling.
2. Perform GMP audits.
- Conduct weekly audits & inspections.
- Report & record issues & corrective action from surveys.
- Managed pest control program.
3. Monitored plant CIP routines.
- Do CIP verification titrations.
- Ensure the CIP schedule is followed to the letter.
- Communicate non-conformances to relevant parties.
Skills, Experience & Education
- First Degree in Applied Biology, Microbiology and Biology with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in a manufacturing environment.
