About the Company
China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC), a reputable international contractor engaged in the implementation of the Kebribeyah Water Supply Project, is seeking qualified and experienced candidates for the position of Surveyor.
Project: Kebribeyah Water Supply Project (Lot 1)
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct topographic, route, and level surveys for construction activities.
- Set out alignments, reference points, and benchmarks according to design drawings.
- Prepare survey reports, drawings, and related documentation.
- Monitor and verify construction works to ensure compliance with design coordinates and elevations.
- Collaborate closely with engineers, foremen, and site teams to support day-to-day project execution.
- Maintain survey equipment and ensure proper calibration.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Degree in Surveying Technology, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in construction or water supply projects.
- Strong knowledge of Total Station, GPS, AutoCAD, and surveying software.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
- Good communication skills and ability to work under pressure.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in pipeline or water supply project surveying.
- Familiarity with IFC drawings and site layout procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and coordination skills.
- Proficiency Somali language is an asset
