Position Summary

This is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Head of Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including:

• Leading and coordinating the activities of the accounting team.
• Supporting senior management in monitoring disbursements and collections.
• Ensuring accurate maintenance and secure storage of financial records.
• Performing timely bank reconciliations.
• Preparing interim and annual financial reports, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a closely related discipline.
• Professional Experience: Over 5 years of hands-on experience in finance, including 3 years serving as Head of Finance within the logistics and freight forwarding sector.

• Proven leadership in managing and guiding finance teams.
• Resilient under pressure, with a strong grasp of financial regulations and compliance standards.
• Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and in-depth financial analysis.
