Position Summary
This is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. The Head of Finance is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of the company, including:
- Leading and coordinating the activities of the accounting team.
- Supporting senior management in monitoring disbursements and collections.
- Ensuring accurate maintenance and secure storage of financial records.
- Performing timely bank reconciliations.
- Preparing interim and annual financial reports, ensuring all transactions are properly recorded.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a closely related discipline.
- Professional Experience: Over 5 years of hands-on experience in finance, including 3 years serving as Head of Finance within the logistics and freight forwarding sector.

- Proven leadership in managing and guiding finance teams.
- Resilient under pressure, with a strong grasp of financial regulations and compliance standards.
- Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, and in-depth financial analysis.
