Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Head Tailor to lead a skilled tailoring team in delivering high-quality garments. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to precision and craftsmanship in a welcoming and collaborative work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, supervise, and support the tailoring team to ensure efficient workflow and high standards
- Oversee garment construction, alterations, and finishing with exceptional attention to detail
- Ensure all products meet quality standards and client expectations
- Train and mentor junior tailors to improve skills and consistency
- Manage production timelines and coordinate daily tailoring operations
- Inspect completed garments for accuracy, fit, and overall quality
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean working environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a tailor, with leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fabrics, and tailoring techniques
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to manage a team and meet deadlines efficiently
- Good communication and organizational skills
- English fluency is an advantage
- Female candidates are encouraged.
