Ethal Aluminum Manufacturing PLC is engaged in the manufacturing of Aluminum Utensils with an aluminum melting facility at 1st, Industry zone, Debre-birhan, Ahmaro National Regional State, Ethiopia. It is 130 KM. far from the country's capital, Addis Ababa. Ethal Head office is on the 3rd floor, PECAN building, Gurd Shola, Megenagna, Addis Ababa.

Ethal is a leading utensils manufacturing company with operational excellence, driven by innovation, technology, and motivation to enhance sustainable industrial and business growth in Ethiopia.

The company is producing a variety of export quality Utensils products which is demanded in the entire country of Ethiopia. In the near future, the company is planning to produce a premium type, a new range of utensil products to cover a wide range of customers.

Role Purpose

We are seeking a senior, experienced professional to manage Human Resources, Office Administration, and Property/Facilities Management for our Head Office in Addis Ababa. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for building structure, discipline, and consistency across people processes and office operations.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Human Resources Leadership

  • End-to-end HR processes: recruitment, onboarding, records, attendance, leave
  • Performance management, reviews, promotions
  • Employee relations, disciplinary processes, and exits
  • Compliance with Ethiopian labor laws

2. Office & Administrative Management

  • Day-to-day office operations
  • Supervision of admin assistants and reception
  • Document control, vendors, office discipline

3. Property & Facilities Administration

  • Lease, maintenance, utilities, security
  • Vendor and landlord coordination

4. Reporting

  • Support in preparing monthly and quarterly financial reports.
  • Provide schedules and supporting documents for audits, tax filings, and compliance requirements.
  • Reporting related to procurement and inventory.

Organizational Scaling:

  • Support 50% headcount growth
  • Build scalable HR/admin systems

Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree in Management / Business Administration / Human Resource Management

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 15 years in HR/Admin roles
  • Strong knowledge of Ethiopian labor law
  • Experience in growing organizations

Preferred Profile:

  • Mature, authoritative, fair, practical

IT Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel)
