About the Job
We are looking for a proactive and organized HR Assistant to support the daily operations of the Human Resources department. This role is ideal for someone with hands-on HR exposure who understands the basics and is ready to grow into a stronger HR professional. You’ll be the backbone of HR administration.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with recruitment processes, including posting vacancies, shortlisting CVs, scheduling interviews, and preparing interview documents.
- Maintain and update employee records, personnel files, and HR databases.
- Support onboarding and orientation of new employees.
- Assist in preparing employment contracts, letters, and HR-related documents.
- Support payroll preparation by maintaining attendance, leave, and employee data.
- Track employee leave, attendance, and probation periods.
- Assist in implementing HR policies, procedures, and internal guidelines.
- Support performance management, training coordination, and staff development activities.
- Handle basic employee inquiries and escalate issues when necessary.
- Assist with disciplinary processes and documentation under supervision.
- Ensure confidentiality of employee information at all times.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Advanced Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0–1 year of relevant HR or administrative experience.
- Basic understanding of labor law and HR practices.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and basic HR systems.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- High level of professionalism and attention to detail.
