Job Summary
On behalf of our client, an import-export company, we are seeking an Import Documentation Officer. The role is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and managing all documents related to import activities, ensuring compliance with customs and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare, review, and process import documentation accurately
- Handle all documents related to incoming shipments
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and import procedures
- Coordinate with freight forwarders, customs officials, and clearing agents
- Follow up on shipment and clearance processes
- Maintain organized and up-to-date documentation records
- Track shipments and ensure timely submission of required documents
- Communicate effectively with internal teams and external partners
- Identify and resolve documentation issues promptly
Requirements & Qualifications:
- 1+ year of experience in import documentation or related field
- Experience within the construction sector is highly preferred.
- Active, energetic, and detail-oriented
- Strong communication and coordination skills
- Basic knowledge of import procedures and documentation
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Email)
