Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Import-Export Manager to oversee and coordinate all international trade activities. The role involves managing shipments, ensuring compliance with customs regulations, negotiating with suppliers and logistics providers, and optimizing import-export operations for cost efficiency and timely delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, organize, and manage all import and export operations.
- Ensure all documentation, licensing, and customs requirements are met.
- Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and shipping agents.
- Negotiate rates and contracts with logistics providers and suppliers.
- Monitor shipment schedules and resolve issues promptly.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of international trade regulations and policies.
- Prepare reports on costs, timelines, and operational performance.
- Supervise and train staff involved in import-export activities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, International Trade, or related field.
- 3–5 years’ experience in import-export or logistics management.
- Strong knowledge of customs regulations and shipping documentation.
- Excellent negotiation, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work under pressure.
