Position Summary

• Boeing is seeking an Intern to join the Boeing Global team based in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. This summer internship offers practical experience supporting strategy, government relations, and market development activities across Africa. The role is ideal for candidates passionate about aviation and looking to gain hands-on experience in a challenging, rewarding environment.

About You

Key Responsibilities

Professional Support & Operations

• Provide entry-level professional services to support day-to-day business operations.
• Interface with various Boeing business units and functions to enable an integrated approach to business, campaigns, and partnership activities.
• Support or lead the implementation of enterprise strategies, stakeholder engagement plans, and other business initiatives as appropriate.

Business Development & Market Research

• Assist with identifying business development opportunities for Boeing in the region.
• Support market analysis and the development of materials to inform regional strategy and outreach.

Sustainability & Corporate Commitments

• Support the development and implementation of Boeing’s sustainability initiatives and commitments in the region.

Learning & Community

• Participate in learning sessions and engage with the Early Careers community to build capability and professional networks.

Job Requirements

Basic Qualifications (required)

• Currently studying towards a relevant degree in Engineering, Business, International Relations, Political Science, or a related field.
• Able to read, write, and speak English fluently.

Preferred Qualifications (desired)

• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Drive, enthusiasm, integrity, and strong ethical values.
• Proven team working and contribution skills.
• Results-oriented with a customer satisfaction focus.
• Motivation and knowledge of the aviation/aerospace industry.
