Job Description

Implementing secure networks and understanding how components, such as antivirus software and endpoint security solutions, work together to create a secure network.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitoring networks for security breaches and investigating violations.
• Protecting servers, computers, networks, and data against threats.
• Being proactive in ensuring the IT Infrastructure is secure and up to date.
• Quickly remediating security incidents and communicating with top management.
• Making proactive and preventative housekeeping of the IT Infrastructure.
• Analyzing and troubleshooting network logs to track problems.
• Ensuring that the IT Infrastructure and its data are protected against known threats.
• Maintaining Firewalls, Security Information Event Management, and other security tools.
• Conducting periodic IT security audits.
• Preparing periodic activity and progress reports.
• Exploring the latest information technology security trends.
• Reviewing and making recommendations for adequate levels of IT security.
• Building a culture of proactivity and exceptional service delivery.
• Performing related duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualification

• 1st Degree (BSc) in Computer Science/Information Technology/Computer Engineering/MIS or related field with 3 years relevant experience.

Mandatory Requirements

• Proven SOC experience with expertise in SIEM, WAF, firewalls, and endpoint security.
• Strong knowledge of threat detection, analysis, and incident response.
• Certifications such as CEH, CISSP, or CompTIA Security+ are a plus.
