Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and creative Senior Designer to lead our design team and drive excellence in furniture innovation. This role requires a blend of technical expertise, artistic vision, and leadership to deliver designs that balance aesthetics, functionality, and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and optimize operational drawings for production.
- Develop, refine, and modify new design concepts to meet client and market demands.
- Mentor and guide junior designers, fostering skill development and collaboration.
- Prepare and review bills of materials (BOMs) to optimize material usage and reduce waste.
- Ensure designs adhere to industry standards, client specifications, and cost-effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, architecture, furniture design, woodwork, or a related field.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience in furniture design, with at least 3 years exclusively in furniture manufacturing design.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design software.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of furniture design principles, production processes, and material optimization.
- Leadership: Experience guiding junior team members and collaborating cross-functionally.
