IT Specialist

The IT Specialist is responsible for supporting and maintaining the company’s information technology systems, ensuring the stable operations of hardware, software, and network infrastructure. The role involves troubleshooting technical issues, supporting users, maintaining system security, and contributing to the improvement of IT services to enhance operational efficiency across the organization.

Required Qualification

• BSc Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

Work Experience

• Minimum of 3 years relevant experience in an IT support or system administration role
• Experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues

Core Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for hardware, software, and network systems
• Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and applications
• Monitor system performance and ensure IT infrastructure stability
• Support cybersecurity measures and data protection policies
• Assist in user account management and access control systems
• Respond to IT service requests and resolve technical issues promptly
• Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and IT procedures
• Support backup and recovery processes

Technical Competencies

• Strong knowledge of computer hardware and software systems
• Understanding of networking concepts (LAN, WAN, TCP/IP)
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux operating systems
• Basic knowledge of cybersecurity principles
• Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues efficiently
