Junior Accountant

Job Summary

The Junior Accountant will support the finance team in performing basic accounting tasks, ensuring accurate financial record-keeping, and assisting in the preparation of reports. This role is ideal for recent graduates looking to start a career in accounting and finance, gaining practical experience in financial operations.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Assist in recording daily financial transactions and maintaining accurate accounting records.
• Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Help reconcile accounts, bank statements, and financial documents.
• Assist in monitoring budgets and expenditures.
• Support payroll processing and ensure proper documentation of staff payments.
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial records.
• Provide administrative support to the finance team as required.
• Ensure compliance with internal policies and accounting standards.
• Perform other finance-related tasks as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

• First Degree in Accounting or Accounting & Finance from a recognized college/university

• Fresh Graduate or up to 0 years of professional experience in accounting or finance
