Jr. Accountant

Job Overview

Flintstone Engineering S.C is looking for a detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team. You will support the Senior Finance Manager in the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring that all financial transactions are recorded accurately and in compliance with IFRS. System Requirement: Basic knowledge on ERP system

Reporting to: Senior Finance Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Data Entry & CNET Management: Accurately record daily financial transactions, including expenses, bank deposits, and tenant receipts into the CNET ERP system.
• Accounts Payable/Receivable: Process invoices, follow up on client collections documentation, and ensure all payments are documented correctly.
• Bank Reconciliation: Perform monthly bank statement reconciliations for our various projects.
• Tax Documentation: Assist in the preparation of monthly tax filings, including VAT, Withholding Tax, and income tax, ensuring all supporting documents are organized as per the requirement.
• Documentation & Filing: Maintain a systematic and organized filing system for all financial records, contracts, and audit documents.
• Audit Support: Provide necessary documentation and schedules to the Senior Finance Manager during internal and external audits.
• Collaboration and Teamwork: Ability to work across departments and coordinate among teams.

Required Qualifications

• Education: B.A. Degree in Accounting or Finance from a recognized university.
• Experience: 0-1 years of accounting experience. Experience in Real Estate or Construction is a plus.
• Technical Skills: Basic understanding of IFRS principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Previous exposure to ERP or similar accounting software is highly preferred.
• Attitude: High level of integrity, a "can-do" attitude, and a strong desire to learn complex real estate accounting.
