Job Summary
On behalf of our Client, we are seeking to recruit a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to support daily accounting operations. The role involves maintaining accurate financial records, handling cash and bank reconciliations, monitoring expenses, and assisting with monthly financial reporting and audit activities. This is a full-time position offering an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop professionally within the organization.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily sales, expenses, and supplier transactions
- Maintain proper accounting records and supporting documents
- Perform daily and monthly cash and bank reconciliations
- Manage petty cash and monitor restaurant operational expenses
- Assist with payroll data preparation
- Support monthly closing and basic financial reports
- Assist during internal and external audits
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience
- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
