About the Company
Green Hope Energy Works PLC is a fast-growing organization engaged in renewable & electrical sector. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team and support day-to-day accounting operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
- Prepare vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payment documents.
- Assist with monthly bank reconciliation.
- Support preparation of financial reports and statements.
- Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
- Assist in payroll preparation and statutory tax filings (VAT, Withholding, Pension, etc.).
- Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams regarding financial matters.
- Perform any other finance-related tasks assigned by the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager.
Required Qualifications & Skills
- BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or related field.
- 0–2 years of relevant work experience (fresh graduates encouraged to apply).
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Ethiopian tax laws.
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Peachtree/ERP is an advantage).
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Salary and compensation will be determined based on the company’s scale.
