About the Company

Green Hope Energy Works PLC is a fast-growing organization engaged in renewable & electrical sector. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Junior Accountant to join our finance team and support day-to-day accounting operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Record daily financial transactions and maintain accurate ledgers.
• Prepare vouchers, invoices, receipts, and payment documents.
• Assist with monthly bank reconciliation.
• Support preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation of accounting records.
• Assist in payroll preparation and statutory tax filings (VAT, Withholding, Pension, etc.).
• Communicate with suppliers, customers, and internal teams regarding financial matters.
• Perform any other finance-related tasks assigned by the Senior Accountant or Finance Manager.

Required Qualifications & Skills

• BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or related field.
• 0–2 years of relevant work experience (fresh graduates encouraged to apply).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles and Ethiopian tax laws.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (Peachtree/ERP is an advantage).
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Salary and compensation will be determined based on the company’s scale.
