Job Summary
The Junior Accountant will assist in maintaining financial records, processing transactions, and supporting month-end closing activities. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual eager to develop their accounting skills in a fast-paced, multi-industry environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in maintaining accurate financial records (ledgers, invoices, receipts).
- Support accounts payable/receivable processing and reconciliations.
- Help prepare monthly financial reports and bank reconciliations.
- Process expense reports and ensure proper documentation.
- Assist with budget tracking and basic financial analysis.
- Support the finance team during audits and tax filings.
- Learn and utilize accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP).
- Collaborate with other departments to verify financial data.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (fresh graduates welcome).
- Experience: 0–2 years (internship or practical training in accounting is a plus).
- Technical Skills: Basic knowledge of accounting principles; familiarity with Excel, Peachtree & SAP.
- Soft Skills: Strong attention to detail, willingness to learn, and good communication.
